It's your first day on the job at the XelCorps 5 Biomedical Research Starbase. The more the player explores the space station, the more they discover the ship is in disarray, not only because of an escaped alien life form, but also poor mismanagement and shoddy upkeep.

Onboarding is a Space Horror Parody interactive fiction with RPG elements. Players can choose up to three different playable roles: Security Guard, Signals Expert, and Lab Tech. Each role provides variations to dialogue choices and interactivity within the game.

In order for best experience explore rooms in this sequence once in the Armory:

Armory -> Bridge -> Research Lab ->Aft Corridor

The "Boozy and Groovy"  Bridge room exit: In Bridge room, examine the security desk, then inspect drawers to find liquor bottles. Initiate video call sequence (Inner Sanctum-> Captain's chair -> press green button). After video call ends, SID starts playing the Bee Gees. Then choose "Open up the Scotch." If you boogie down to the music you just might win the respect from a special someone...

Great game! Had some really good moments, especially when it opens up for exploration in the station. Also love that you kept some of the sillier dialog options as consequential choices- I wasn't expecting my dance moves to save the day, but I'm glad they did!
